"Silica" is a concept that envisions a dystopian future Earth in the aftermath of humanity neglecting its responsibility to care for the environment. It explores a landscape characterized by decaying dunes, bleached waterways, cracks, erosion, and an overall barren and desolate appearance. The concept is a portrayal of the consequences of environmental degradation, where once-thriving ecosystems have been replaced by a harsh and unforgiving environment.

The project features a lone survivor, symbolizing the remnants of humanity, as they struggle to endure the harsh conditions and impending fate of the planet. Both the land and the sea have become too toxic to support life, with sand and salt dominating and poisoning the landscape.

Silica serves as a poignant commentary on the importance of environmental stewardship and the potential consequences of neglecting our responsibilities to protect and care for the planet. It serves as a visual representation of the possible future if we do not take steps to address environmental issues and climate change.
